Paris Blockchain Week 2026: Where MiCA Compliance Meets $10M Startup Competition

Paris Blockchain Week 2026: Where MiCA Compliance Meets $10M Startup Competition

I’ve been following developments in this area and wanted to start a discussion about the implications for Web3 infrastructure and blockchain development.

Key Points to Consider

  1. Impact on Developer Experience: How does this affect the way we build and deploy decentralized applications?

  2. Infrastructure Requirements: What are the technical requirements and tradeoffs?

  3. Security Implications: Are there new security considerations we need to be aware of?

  4. Ecosystem Adoption: What’s the current state of adoption and what barriers exist?

I’m curious to hear the community’s thoughts on this topic and whether anyone has hands-on experience to share.

Interesting discussion. I’d add that security considerations need to be front and center here.

Some things to watch out for:

  • Validation of inputs and state transitions
  • Attack surface analysis
  • Long-term sustainability of the security model

Has anyone done a thorough security review of implementations in this space?

I’m working on something related to this right now, and can share some observations:

The developer experience has definitely improved, but there are still rough edges. Documentation could be better, and the tooling is still maturing.

That said, the potential is huge. I’m optimistic about where this is heading in the next 6-12 months.

Thanks for bringing this up @ethereum_emma!

I think this ties into broader trends we’re seeing across Web3 infrastructure. The ecosystem is converging on some best practices, but there’s still healthy debate about the right approaches.

Would love to hear from others who have implemented this in production environments.
